Late fees
If you do not send your rental back on your specified day, a late fee of $5 per day will be charged, this will be emailed. Unless you have discussed with us prior, in this case, your rental period may be extended. It's important to send back your rental on time so that others who have booked in can receive on time for their event too!
How do I rent?

Step 2: On the calendar chose the date of your event and send back date
Step 3: Add any accessories
Step 4: Make payment
Step 5: Receive your outfit and wear it to your event
Step 6: Send your outfit back to us in the pre-paid postage bag!
What does my payment include?
Full payment includes the item you want to rent, cleaning, shipping to you* plus a pre-paid postage bag to send back to us! Please do not wash your rental as they have important cleaning processes we need to follow as to not damage the item! If you wash your item and damage it, you will be charged full retail price for the item
*Shipping is charged at the checkout (either overnight or rural)
Can I try an item on?
Yes you can! There is a flat rate of $25 for try ons which includes shipping to you and back to us.
You will be charged full rental price and then refunded back the difference to $25 if the below is followed. Please write 'try on' in the notes section at the check out.
Try ons are available only to order on Monday and Tuesday, set your rental date for the earliest day available). The try on will be delivered at the latest, the same week Wednesday, you must then return the item the day of or day after arrival (return Friday same week at the latest). If this is not followed, you will not be refunded.
If you order on a day other than Monday or Tuesday for a try on, your try on will not be sent and we will reorganize your try on for the following week if available.
Extra $5 charge per item for try on.
What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel a booking, you must let us know within 7 days of your event to receive a full refund or gift card credit. If your item has already been sent, you will be charged our try on fee ($25) plus shipping costs and be expected to return before your event date. If this is not followed, no refund will be issued.
What if I don't like my rental or it doesn't fit?
We understand this happens, if your outfit doesn't fit or you don't like it, you must let us know as soon as possible. You must send the outfit back same day or the following day of arrival. You will be charged for a try on ($25) plus shipping costs instead of the full rental price as long as your item is returned before your event day. If this is not followed, no refund will be issued.
I got a mark on my rental or have damaged it, what do I do?
If you stain the item, please message us straight away and do not attempt to wash it yourself! Generally we can get most of the marks out!
In the case of serious staining or damage, you will be required to pay for half of the retail cost of the item.
We also have the optional $5 damage waver which covers you for all stains and damages! If you want to enjoy your rental without having to worry, please add this as an extra option which is displayed in your cart.
I have a specific outfit I would like but you do not range it, what can I do?
Please email us directly at contact@festifitrentals.co.nz with the link to the outfit you would love for us to add to our range and we will look into this for you!
What if I don't send the rental back?
If your rental is not sent back we will charge you the retail price of the item you rented plus late fees of $5 per day for a maximum of 7 days. We also have the right to get either the police or a collection agency involved. Please refer to our terms and conditions.
